About Us

Sami and Josh first met back in 2009 when they both worked in leadership positions at a major international retailer in Toronto, Canada, Sami in the Operations Department and Josh in Store Development.  During a real estate tour of the Toronto market in search of the next AAA locations for the company, Sami and Josh discovered each other’s entrepreneurial drive and passion for identifying new and upcoming business concepts.  Over the course of a four year period, this conversation continued to escalate and one fact became very apparent – Sami & Josh realized that there were a large number of entrepreneurs out there who had a great concept and strong vision to grow, but did not have the knowledge, understanding or ability to realize their dreams.

From this realization, Spark Business Growth Partners was founded in April of 2013.

Since forming Spark, the team has assisted companies at all stages, from entrepreneurs seeking to start up their first retail concept to fiercely talented chefs looking to introduce their new sauce to the culinary world, to international companies striving to take their business to the next level.
